It has been anything but dull around here this past week. My week started with a busy Monday at the office followed by Yoga...yes I finally made it to class.... On Tuesday I get a message on Facebook from a high school buddy of mine, that the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra is in town and if I had time I should go to the concert. What a musical treat.... so glad we went.
Thursday night I was one of the 4 sous chefs at the Ronald MacDonald House...love going there and treating the familes to a sit down dinner. The strength and courage these families have, simply blows me away everytime I am there.
Friday my husband and I finally made it to the turkish farmers market in Kreuzberg. WOW, is all I can say. This will become a Friday tradition with us, I am sure!
The highlight of my week was our 1st annual 4th of July bbq....one week later. Everyone was busy on the fourth and the germans were playing soccer in the world cup, so we decided to celebrate a week later. We invited some familar faces and some new ones and had a wonderful time. THankfully the weather held and we were able to enjoy great food and good company.
And that brings us to Sunday.....as usual that was spent doing the household chores.....and of course to the final game of the World Cup. Germany vs Argentina
